W H A T  I F ?

As we move through this world of wonders, do we ever look around and ask, What if? What if I try this? Or that? Or do we stay shut up like telescopes, never asking, never seeing, never feeling? If life for you is not a pineapple, roast turkey, toffee and hot buttered toast sort of a life, then try cutting loose.

Start by learning the different branches of Arithmetic — Ambition, Distraction, Uglification and Derision. And by degrees pretend like me to be other people, playing games against yourself, boxing your own ears if necessary.

Then, with luck, you'll find yourself examining mousetraps and the moon, and memory, and muchness. Perhaps frowning like a thunderstorm— Perhaps feeling a little different—  Curiouser, maybe. Yes, curiouser!

I have degrees specialising in Fine Art and Art History, which may explain a lot.
